BIOGRAPHY

Ameena Khan is a Tampa-based artist and visual arts teacher at the Universal Academy of Florida. In 2012, she shifted her focus from research to a more personal mission: using art to uplift communities and foster meaningful connections. Through socially conscious exhibitions, engaging workshops, and large-scale public murals, she brings vibrant, thought-provoking art into shared spaces.
Ameena is the founder and former President of Radiant Hands Inc., a member of 200 Muslim Women Who Care, a Girl Scouts of West Central Florida troop leader, and she currently serves on the executive board of NOMAD Studio, an organization that brings quality art programming to children in underserved communities.
