PORTFOLIO > ACRYLIC

I am always amazed by the strength of women, particularly those who fight for justice in spite of the risks they take on. This piece intends to honor the Egpytian women who participated, and continue to participate, in the Egyptian revolution despite significant risks and obstacles. In this piece I also chose to include the symbol of the eagle grasping an empty scroll and facing the opposite direction of that on the Egyptian flag, to symbolize a country headed in a new direction.

Check out my ETSY shop for details on how to purchase this piece.
